I tried a whole bunch of mounts from Amazon but none of them could accommodate this mounting pattern or projector weight well. There was a lot of mount arm flex with those. This mount was exactly as advertised - compatible with the projector I got. The most basic delivery said 2 days but end up being 1 and on the opposite side of the country. Awesome! Bought a few different types of items from B&H, their item pages and videos are always very useful. B&H always get it right for the customer.

easy to set up and very accurate settings. compared to other universal mounts this is the way to go if you have a benQ. clean look and no need for all the universal fittings.

Can you tell me the diameter of the pipe? I need to mount a benq projector to a a tripod and am hoping to use this?

I have a vaulted ceiling, will this work for that? (My projector is a BenQ LK936ST)
The BenQ CM00G3 Ceiling Mount for Select BenQ Projectors is compatible with the BenQ LK936ST, but it is not made for vaulted ceilings. For that, you want to use something more like Optoma OCM815W [BH #OPOCM815W] or the Mount-It MI-606L [BH #MOMI606L].

how much can you lower the projector from the ceiling? I am going to project onto the back of my window blinds, and when I put the projector on top of a cabinet that's already too high.
