With Teton Sports' metallic gray 45L Summit2800 UltraLight Day Backpack you have plenty of room to pack gear for a night or two on the trail without the weight of the pack adding too much to your load. Made of 420 ripstop nylon, this bag is made to carry just about everything you might need: from clothes, food, and sleeping bags, to a tent, axes, and trail stove. To keep your load from shifting as you move, the pack has adjustable load straps and shock-absorbing sternum strap that allows you to set it in the optimal position, plus a padded waist belt that expands from 26" to 60" to accommodate a wide variety of users.
An internal sleeve holds a 3L hydration system bladder and the straps feature hydration hose management to keep it safe, snag-free and at the ready. The large main storage compartment has a volume of 2800 cu in, and its wide top-loading hood has a drawstring closure with dual barrel locks to keep dirt and debris out. A lower compartment provides a separate area for shoes, wet gear, or a sleeping bag. In addition to the main compartment, the Summit 2800 has a front stash pocket, gear loops, and a multitude of compression straps for sleeping bag, bed rolls, and other equipment. When the weather turns, there is an integrated fitted rain cover that unzips from the bottom. Its bright yellow color can be used to increase your visibility or for signaling in emergency situations.
