Nitecore P25 Smilodon Rechargeable LED Flashlight v.2 (Black)

The P25 Smilodon Rechargeable LED Flashlight v.2 from Nitecore has the power to be used as a primary light, but is small enough for a backup. Its output comes from a white Cree XM-L U2 T6 LED with five outputs from 2 to 960 lumens. Press the 2-stage pushbutton tailcap switch for momentary activation, press and click for constant-on. The output intensity, strobe, location beacon, and SOS signal, are controlled using an intelligent mode switch on the body. The switch remembers the last output intensity used and automatically goes to that output the next time it is turned on, even with momentary activation. The selector switch also acts as an indicator for low-voltage warning, charging, available batter voltage, and functions as a location beacon for the light when in Standby mode.

Built for durability, the light features an aluminum housing with a Type III hard-anodized black finish that resists scratching and corrosion. It is impact resistant to 5 feet, and O-Ring sealed for an IPX8 rating making it submersible to 6.6'. A textured diamond pattern is machined into the handle to provide a sure grip, and there is a removable tactical ring that fits on the handle for use with various tactical pistol/light grip techniques. Mini Picatinny rails on the sides enable small peripherals, like a sighting laser to be attached, freeing room on the weapon rail. They also act as heat-sinks to cool the head. An anti-recoil design enables the light, with optional accessories, to be weapon-mounted. The light can run on one user-supplied 18650 or two CR123 li-ion rechargeable, or two CR123 disposable batteries. An integrated charging port on the housing enables the rechargeable batteries to be charged in the light.
