It does not say how many swabs and corner swabs are included, so I assume there 12 swabs and 4 corner swabs and a handle like on the picture - is that correct ?

Yes, that's what I received. The handle is really helpful as it adds both length and its slightly curved shape helps your swiping motion from side to side.
