Marantz NR1504 Overview

The Marantz NR1504 5.1-Channel Slim Network AV Receiver offers powerful multi-channel sound from a compact design. This receiver houses a discrete 5-channel amplifier that can deliver 50W per channel at 8 ohms. Audyssey calibration is built into the receiver to help you tailor the sound of the receiver and connected speakers to your listening environment; a setup microphone is included. Integrated AirPlay allows you to wirelessly stream audio from compatible devices such as iPhones and iPads. An Ethernet port is also available for wired high-speed connections. Internet connectivity allows you to access Internet streaming services, such as Pandora and Spotify.

The Marantz NR1504 is well-equipped for video sources as well as audio. This receiver features six HDMI inputs and an HDMI output. The HDMI interface can handle the pass-through of Full HD 1080p and 3D video signals. On the audio side, this receiver supports high-resolution Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD over HDMI. For control flexibility, you can use the included remote control, or operate the NR1504 from your Android or iOS smart device with the free Marantz Remote App.

Audyssey MultEQ Room Acoustic Measurement and Correction System
With the supplied measuring microphone, the MultEQ function measures each speaker and the subwoofer. Powered by a 32-bit floating point DSP processor, MultiEQ quickly and automatically generates multiple precision-digital filters that provide speaker and room acoustic compensation to deliver a smooth, natural tonal balance over the entire audio range.
Easy to Setup and Use
With the Setup Assistant, you can configure your home theater system by following the intuitive graphical user interface, which combines text and graphics to let you have your system properly configured for your particular home theater setup.
Easy to Connect
The NR1504's rear panel has been engineered for easy connectivity, featuring separate connector blocks for the audio, video, and speaker connections, spaced apart for hassle-free connectivity.
USB Port with iPod/iPhone Charging
The convenient front-panel USB port lets you connect portable USB memory devices, such as a USB thumb drive or a USB hard disk drive, so you can quickly and easily stream your favorite music tracks. In standby mode, the USB port is still active, letting you charge your iPod touch, iPhone, or iPad.
Pandora Internet Radio, SiriusXM, Spotify, and Flickr Photo Streaming
Connect the NR1504 to your home network via the RJ-45 LAN and access a broad range of Internet radio stations via Pandora, as well as listening to a large library of music tracks and other programs from SiriusXM and Spotify streaming services. The NR1504 also features Flickr photo streaming, letting you view your favorite photos on your big-screen HDTV.
Marantz Remote App for iOS and Android devices
The free Marantz Remote App lets you use your smartphone or other portable device to control your NR1504, and is available in both iOS and Android versions. With the intuitive graphical interface, you can easily control your system for maximum enjoyment and ease of operation.
Slim-Line Chassis with Low-Profile Design
Featuring a reduced cabinet height compared to larger standard-size AV receivers, the low- profile design of the NR1504 lets you easily fit it into tight spaces, such as a TV stand, for more installation flexibility.

5-Channel Amplifier with Discrete Output Devices
