Mounting your camera into the ELE-A7S-C Cage Kit for Sony a7S from ikan without needing to use a screwdriver is one of the strengths of this formfitting black anodized cage and rod system. Built specifically for the Sony a7S, it consists of the camera cage, which allows unobstructed access to the camera's features, connectors, battery, and SD card slot and includes a 15mm rod clamp system with rods. The cage provides 1/4"-20 accessory mounting points, so you can mount available accessories without stressing the camera body.
It features a removable top handle that mounts on top of the cage and is secured by a thumbwheel, so again, no tools needed. You can mount the rubberized top handle facing either forward or backwards, and an integrated cold shoe allows you to mount optional accessories. A removable cable clamp block allows you to secure your cables and helps prevent the cables from accidentally falling out. This makes it easier to connect optional HDMI cables, and you don't have to worry about wearing out or damaging your camera's micro HDMI port by repeatedly plugging and re-plugging a Micro HDMI cable into the camera body. Please note that there are no cables included with the kit. The included 15mm rod clamp baseplate features both 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threaded tripod mounting holes. Included with the kit are two 12"-long 15mm aluminum support rods.
