    TP-Link HA100 reviews

HA100 Bluetooth Music Receiver is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 12.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very nice product, best I have used This receiver is very nicely built and attractive, connects very quickly, has great range, and "just works" without fuss or tedium. I also have a Logitech Bluetooth receiver, and prefer this one to it. The Logitech makes tone noises when connecting/disconnecting which can be annoying. I like that this TP-Link receiver uses a mini USB connection for its power supply which is 5v... That means you can use a phone charger that is 5v and mini USB, a mini USB cable from your laptop, wall outlet mounted USB power source, etc. I also like that the TP-Link receiver also has NFC capability, more included cables, and many times a lower price. Also nice that you don't even have to push a button as you do on the Logitech to make a connection... Just power-up the TP-Link receiver, and it is ready to be found by your equipment. Audio quality seems to be very good, and the best thing is it simply works, where you forget it is even around. Can't think of a thing I don't like about it, and for me to say that about much of anything is saying something. Thanks for reading and considering my review, and thanks to B&H for a great price, and fast, competent shipping.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This works great, easy to set up I purchased this for use in the grade school gym. We were concerned about the range, but the coach can now move throughout the entire gym, larger than a basketball court, without losing signal. It's changed his ability to work with the students and allows him to start/stop or change music on his smart phone without having to head back to the sound board. Vary, very impressed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Review of TP-Link HA100 Bluetooth Music Receiver We've enjoyed using the TP-Link HA100 in our dining room, hearing music or other on-line videos seen on our Ipad, the output signal being connected to the Aux Input of our Bose Wave Radio. To test it more thoroughly, we moved it into the living room, connecting its output to our Sony Power Amplifier driving a pair of Klipsch loudspeakers, and making a number of comparisons as follows: (1) Using the Bose as a CD player, also connected to the Sony, we compared the sound of several classical music performances (a Schubert Piano Sonata, the Requiem by Gabriel Faure, and sections of the Bach Christmas Oratorio) as heard on the CD's with corresponding on-line performances streamed via the TP-Link device. We found the sound quality to be closely comparable in all cases. (2) We compared the sound quality for those on-line performances heard via the TP-Link with the same performances heard (and seen) using our Apple TV setup. Again, the sound quality was closely comparable. (3) For a technical test of the Bluetooth streaming capability, we compared the audio quality for several on-line performances captured on our Ipad and streamed via the TP-Link with those heard by hard-wiring the Ipad audio output into the Sony. In this case we could discern a very slightly better audio quality (fuller---more faithful) for the hard-wired connection. But this difference was VERY slight---barely detectable for the Bach choral piece, almost undetectable for a piano duet piece. As a final remark, we found the Bluetooth connectivity for the TP-Link to be very easy and reliable. Connection was never lost even when the Ipad was moved back to the dining room (through two walls). All in all, the TP-Link performance was EXCELLENT .I have no hesitation in giving it the highest rating.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just What It Hoped For Works just as it should: connects easily (and reliably) to my phone and sounds great. I'm sure some of the more expensive bluetooth recievers sound better, but for the price, this does just fine. As one who cares about sound quality, I was afraid bluetooth streaming might not be good enough, but turns out it is. Highly recommended!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fit my needs and budget The iPhone/iPod connection on my otherwise great Onkyo stereo stopped working. I was looking for a way to listen to music from my phone without getting a new stereo. I'd heard of TP Link's wireless routers, so I decided to give this Bluetooth receive a try. The packaging was easy to open, and the instructions were straightforward. I connected this device to the line input on the back of my stereo, and easily paired it with my phone. So far the connection seems solid, though generally the phone is relatively close to the receiver (about 12' away). Once when I moved the phone a greater distance and a wall (and my body) was in the path between the receiver and phone, the connection faltered just a bit. If you want to be able to walk all over your house with your phone and transmit to the receiver, I'm not sure if that would work or not. Overall, I'm very happy that this worked for me, and that I didn't have to purchase a new stereo. The added bonus is that multiple devices now can stream to the stereo and I am not limited to the 30-pin iPhone/iPod dock.
