The pair of black Classic Series C5BT Bluetooth Studio Monitors from Fluid Audio offers an affordable yet high-quality monitoring solution for your home or project studio and is ideal for music, multimedia and other desktop monitoring applications. The monitors feature CRS Bluetooth 4.0 technology with aptX support, which revolutionized the Bluetooth Stereo listening experience by significantly reducing the bit rate without affecting audio quality or introducing latency issues. The enclosure offers a variety of connections including TRS, RCA, digital optical inputs, as well as a subwoofer output for connecting to a powered subwoofer.

A stereo Class A/B 40W (20W per channel) amplifier is enclosed in the left speaker and includes a bare-speaker wire connector for the right speaker, which connects via the included speaker wire. A control panel on top of the left speaker offers input selection, Bluetooth pairing, and volume increase/decrease controls. The C5BT ships with a power cord, bare speaker wire, and two acoustic isolation pads.

Exactly what I was looking for in terms of connectivity!

I have a full 5.1 surround sound setup in my main system utilizing Adam AX series monitors, and BenQ projector for video, so my expectations are quite high. My secondary system is a strictly 2 channel office system that consists of a 65 inch TV, Mac mini for music, and analog phono stage for vinyl playback. My reason for choosing this C5BT was the connectivity: optical input for TV, Blue-tooth for music, and analog input for vinyl playback. Sound quality is better than expected; 'punches above its weight'. Sound stage imaging is excellent and so far, no need for a subwoofer for my small office.

Crystal clear if you use the optical connection. With optical I don't get the cut on pop from my computers sound card. Bluetooth sounds great too.
