Sennheiser 506735 Overview

The MobileConnect Wi-Fi-Based Low-Latency Multi-Channel Audio-Transmission System from Sennheiser is for streaming audio content from a wide range of audio mixing devices to mobile devices running the Sennheiser MobileConnect app. It can be used as a personal hearing assistant by streaming audio to audiences via their smartphones, and is effective in applications for live theater, operas, houses of worship, language translations, and more.

The system is based on the bring-your-own-device (BYOD) principle, which allows users to use their own devices on the MobileConnect Wi-Fi network. Download the free app for iOS or Android devices, select the MobileConnect network, start the App and choose the channel. You can modify sound intuitively with the Personal Hearing Assistant feature.

MobileConnect consists of a ConnectStation central unit for transmitting multi-channel audio and the Ruckus ZoneFlex 7372 Wi-Fi Router. It includes a power supply cable and a cable set for connecting the unit to the audio source. In addition, the required MobileConnect app is available for Android and iOS devices running iOS 6.0 or higher.

Personal Hearing Assistant
The personal hearing assistant allows for truly intuitive sound adjustments. The audio signal can be adjusted easily according to individual hearing needs - not only the volume of the audio signal but also more sophisticated sound parameters that affect speech intelligibility
Fast Installation
It integrates easily into any existing audio infrastructure and can be installed within a day. Simply link the ConnectStation to your existing audio system and pair it with the MobileConnect network Wi-Fi Access Point - then, you're all set
Quickly Amortized
Benefit from the Bring-Your-Own-Device culture: MobileConnect requires neither maintenance nor operational costs, which means a lower total cost of ownership and faster return on investment. Save yourself the effort of device handling, headphone hygiene, or battery management
Streams Four Audio Channels
MobileConnect streams four audio channels via standard Wi-Fi protocol onto smartphones in the audience. All sound parameters can be individually adjusted in the MobileConnect App: The personal hearing assistant, developed in cooperation with Fraunhofer Institute for Digital Media Technology, provides intuitive sound-customization tools
Totally Inclusive
MobileConnect accesses new audiences and opens access to arts and culture for everyone. The system can be used for hearing support, audio description, or language translation, thus addressing more and larger target groups than audio systems that exclusively focus on hearing support
