The black 5.1 System from Cambridge Audio contains five Min 12 satellite speakers and one X201 subwoofer.
Each Min 12 is a compact speaker designed to provide the sound quality and depth of larger box speakers without occupying much space. It uses Balanced Mode Radiator (BMR) technology to produce wide frequency response with 180° sound dispersion for a wide sound stage. The Min 12's acoustically-dampened thermo polymer and extruded aluminum construction offers a rigid speaker cabinet to disperse coloration.
The X201 is a compact subwoofer designed to provide the deep bass of larger subwoofers without occupying much space. It features a 200W digital amplifier, a 6.5" active forward-firing woofer, and two 6.5" ABRs to eliminate air noise at high levels and efficiently deliver powerful bass despite the X201's small cabin. The X201 also uses a Digital Signal Processor (DSP), which offers real-time control of equalization and dynamic range processing. This allows the subwoofer to reach a high power output without overloading or distorting the driver.
