Extend your TOSLINK or S/PDIF audio signal up to 500' away with this 500086 Digital Audio Extender Kit from MuxLab. The kit includes a transmitter, receiver, a power supply, and an optical cable. The transmitter can input either two channels of TOSLINK optical or S/PDIF audio and outputs the signal over a Cat 5e/6 cable up to 500' to the receiver. The receiver can output either a TOSLINK optical or S/PDIF signal to the other end for connection to a speaker system or optional converter.
The transmitter features a switch that changes your input from TOSLINK to S/PDIF. The system supports a wide range of audio formats, including PCM, Dolby Digital, and DTS audio. One power supply is included and can power both units using Power-over-Cable support.
