Dedicated to the Zacuto Half Cage Rail, the Cold Shoe Lock is used to hold a camera firmly in place when being used in conjunction with a follow focus. The Cold Shoe Lock attaches to the top Z-Rail portion of the Half Cage Rail via two included 5/32" hex screws and then attaches to the camera via its hot shoe. This connection increases stability and holds the camera firmly in place to prevent unwanted rocking while working with a follow focus.
