The 802.11ac compatible ARCHER D2 AC750 Wireless Dual Band Gigabit ADSL2+ Modem Router from TP-Link supports combined dual band data transfer rates of up to 733 Mbps. In addition to enhanced data transfer rates, the Archer D2 operates on both the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequencies allowing you to allocate more data intensive tasks to the less congested 5 GHz frequency. On the back of the router you will find three antennas with up to 3 dBi gain per antenna for enhanced coverage and the ability to direct your wireless signal thanks to integrated Beamforming technology.
In addition to enhanced wireless networking capabilities, the Archer D2 comes equipped with four Gigabit LAN ports and a combination ADSL or Ethernet WAN connection. This connection is designed to accept a variety of Internet connections including fiber, ADSL, and cable.
Once configured, the Archer D2 supports a wide variety of security standards. When connecting to the router wirelessly you can implement 64/128-bit WEP, WPA/WPA2, WPA-PSK/WPA2-PSK encryption, and Wireless MAC filtering to ensure your network remains secure. Other security features include a NAT firewall, access control, MAC/IP/URL filtering, Denial of Service (Dos), SYN flooding, Ping of Death, and IP and MAC address binding. You can even set up separate guest networks on each of the operating frequencies offering limited Internet access to guests on the network.
