Samsung SM-G531H Overview

The white Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime SM-G531H/DL 8GB Smartphone is designed for use in North and South America and offers powerful performance and dual SIM connectivity. This device features a 1.3 GHz CPU for application processing. 1GB of RAM is on-board for multi-tasking along with an 8GB storage capacity. Additionally, this smartphone features a microSD slot, which supports microSDXC cards up to 128GB.

This Galaxy Grand Prime features a 5.0" TFT LCD touchscreen, which allows you to intuitively navigate the Android operating system. The screen's 960 x 540 resolution enables you to view detailed content. For photo capturing and video chatting, this smartphone features a selfie-friendly 5-megapixel front camera and an 8-megapixel rear camera. The rear camera allows you to record 720p high-definition video at 30 fps and is accompanied by a flash for capturing images in low-light situations as well as increased autofocus capability.

High-speed Internet access is enabled by the smartphone's integrated 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi connectivity. Wi-Fi Direct is also onboard for wireless content sharing with compatible devices. Bluetooth 4.1 is built-in for pairing with other Bluetooth-enabled devices. Integrated GPS with GLONASS allows you to utilize Google Location and Maps services, as well as receive turn-by-turn directions. The Galaxy Grand Prime has a removable 2600mAh battery that can deliver up to 12 hours of 3G talk time.

GSM / 3.5G HSPA+ Wireless Connectivity
This phone is designed to work on select GSM networks and is 3.5G HSPA+ capable. HSPA+ is a cellular network data protocol capable of data speeds much faster than standard 3G; in some cases, HSPA+ comes close to 4G LTE speeds, but it is more widely available than LTE because it uses 3G networks. With an HSPA+ connection, this phone should have no problem streaming video, downloading apps, uploading photos, or anything else that requires a high speed data connection. The phone is also backwards compatible with 2G data networks for instances when you can't get an HSPA+ signal. In addition to cellular wireless, this phone also features Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity.

International Variant / US Compatible 3.5G
The SM-G531H/DL is an international variant of the Galaxy Grand Prime. The SM-G531H/DL's 3.5G radio is tuned to frequencies that are most often used in the United States and North America, as well as Europe and elsewhere. To ensure this phone will work with your carrier please check to make sure the frequencies your carrier uses are supported by this phone. Because the SM-G531H/DL is an international variant the language of the box and the default language of the phone may not be in English. Also an international AC to USB adapter may be included.
Android 5.1 Lollipop
The Android operating system integrates heavily with Google's services. Using the card-based Google Now, Android quickly surfaces information for you whenever you need it, powered by the same Knowledge Engine that runs Google's web search. It's a personalized and customizable OS, allowing you to add your favorite apps or widgets to your homescreen. You can even download new themes using the Google Play Store, which offers access to more than one million apps, games, books, music, movies, and more. Android 5.1 is the second version of the OS known as Lollipop. It takes the myriad improvements from Android 5.0-the "Material Design" visual overhaul, revamped multitasking, and multi-user support-and goes even further, adding official support for HD Voice, new security features such as Device Protection, and more.
