The Gitzo GM2562T Series 2 Traveler Carbon Fiber Monopod is a 6-section support that can hold up to 39.7 lb of gear and weighs less than 1 lb. Fully extended it reaches 55.9" high and it folds down to 14.2" for transport. The monopod is constructed from Carbon eXact tubing for added strength and stiffness compared to the Carbon 6X tubes. Traveler G-lock is a pared-down version of Gitzo's G-lock, specifically designed for the Traveler series to reduce overall size.

While it feels fragile, it is not. I have used it with a Nikon 400 f 2.8 about 12 lb with the camera. It is the old version GM2561T mine weights 380 grams.
I thought my 500mm f4 canon with my 7d mark II monopod would support everything ... but it wanks everywhere ... I also have a Sirui which is really more solid ...
