Watson Pro Buddy System High-Load V-Mount Battery

If your filmmaking takes you across the country, or even across the globe, the Watson Pro Buddy System High-Load V-Mount Battery provides a high-capacity, yet air-travel-friendly solution. With the flip of a switch, the 168Wh battery pack splits in half, allowing it to comply with most airline carry-on regulations. The 15-amp maximum load on this battery can support cinema cameras rigged up with accessories, large LED lights, external recorders, or other on-set essential gear that uses a V-mount. Reverse SMBUS communication is enabled through the V-mount connection. RED ONE and DSMC cameras use reverse SMBUS to communicate detailed battery information, allowing time remaining information to be displayed in the viewfinder. Use the built-in D-tap and USB port to power accessories and charge mobile devices as well. Intelligent circuitry protection is built-in to prevent overloading, overheating, and short-circuits.
