The H170M-PLUS/CSM Motherboard from ASUS is designed to fit in cases that support a Micro ATX form factor. The 9.60 x 8.95" H170M-PLUS/CSM supports 6th Generation (Skylake) Intel Core i7, i5, i3, Pentium, and Celeron processors, the LGA1151 socket, as well as the Intel H170 Express chipset. This motherboard supports Windows 10 (64-bit), 8.1 (64-bit), and 7 (64 and 32-bit).
The Micro ATX form factor of the H170M-PLUS/CSM has 4 x DIMM slots that can support up to 64GB of non-ECC unbuffered DDR4 2133 MHz RAM, as well as dual channel memory architecture and Extreme Memory Profile (XMP) memory modules. The H170M-PLUS/CSM has a total of 6 x SATA III 6 Gb/s ports, 1 x SATA Express port, 1 x M.2 Socket 3, 1 x PCIe 3.0/2.0 x16 slot (running at x16), 1 x PCIe 3.0/2.0 x16 slot (max. at x4 mode), 2 x PCIe 3.0/2.0 x1 slots, 1 x 5 Gb/s USB Type-C port (3A power output supported), 6 x USB 3.0/2.0 ports (4 ports mid-board, 2 x Type-A ports at the back panel), 6 x USB 2.0/1.1 ports (2 ports on the back panel, 4 at mid-board), and 2 x PS/2 ports. Using the Realtek ALC887 codec, it can support 8-channel HD audio.
The H170M-PLUS/CSM has integrated Intel HD graphics support with 1 x HDMI port, 1 x DVI-D port, and 1 x VGA port. It can use up to 512MB of shared memory and also simultaneously supports three displays. Its HDMI port can support maximum resolutions of 4096 x 2160 @ 24 Hz and 2560 x 1600 @ 60 Hz, while both its DVI-D and VGA port can support a maximum resolution of 1920 x 1200 @ 60 Hz. It also supports AMD CrossFireX Technology.
The H170M-PLUS/CSM has also been designed with electrostatic discharge (ESD) guards, LAN guard, overvoltage protection, DRAM overcurrent protection, DIGI+ VRM, a stainless-steel backplate, UEFI BIOS, Fan Xpert 2+, AI Suite 3, RAID 0, 1, 5, and 10, and more. This motherboard is protected by a limited 3-year warranty and includes an I/O shield, an M.2 screw package, and 2 x SATA III 6 Gb/s cables.
