The Manfrotto 055-series are heavier tripods with thicker legs, for more strength and stability. The PRO3 stands for the 3-section variant of the tripod and has the ability to extend its column laterally as well as vertically.

There is a solid hook on the side of the main casting between two of the legs. You can hang your bag there by the handle.
