question

Only nit is the umbrella clamp is not shaped to firmly hold the smallest shaft umbrellas So does this mean it won't hold umbrellas with the small shaft or that it holds them in a sloppy manner??
Asked by: Ken K.
Traditional fix for problems like this is to wrap a section of the shaft with electrical tape, or 2 gaff torn into 1 strips

question

Will this accept Sony flashes? I bought a universal flash bracket and my sony flash shoe (Godox tt685s) doesn't fit nicely in the flash bracket.
Asked by: Anonymous
The clamping shoe of the Varos Pro is designed to firmly contact the sides of a flash foot. The shoe is similar in design to most of the mounting shoes that are in the market. The Sony foot is line no other. I am not sure why the Sony designers chose to carve sections of the foot out of the mount. I don't know of any shoe system that can do any better job.
