The KA-EBY-S has a mahogany neck, and the instrument provides a deep, rich sound. The dark brown grain patterns against a light brown body contrast nicely against the maple trim. Furthermore, the black NuBone XB nut and saddle deliver increased volume and sustained tone while adding clarity to each note.
Finally, the ebony soprano ukulele's rosewood fingerboard has white dot markers at the 5th, 7th, and 10th positions to help identify its 12 fret positions.
