Will a Yamaha receiver power these headphones ...

Will a Yamaha receiver power these headphones sufficiently through the panel's 1/4" headphone jack? I'm reading many comments stating they require a lot of power, but I assume that's because of the use of portable devices which have little output to the headphone jack.
Asked by: Carl
Yes, a stereo receiver would work just fine with these headphones.

question

Where are these headphones made japan :) or China :( ?

There are no markings indicating counrty of origin on the headphones itself.Moe likely on the original box which I tore up and trash for the $50 rebate. Apologize for taking so long to answer.

question

How do these headphones do with long sessions and with glasses? I tried the ATH-M50X's and they were really uncomfortable.
Asked by: Ryan J.
I wear glasses, they don't bother me. But I have switched the stock pads (which are horribly thin) for ZMF Pads which are great.

question

I see that these headphones are available in semi-open (T50RP), closed (T40RP) and open construction (T20RP). Which is the best headphone for mixing and mastering?
Asked by: Anonymous
We would recommend the Fostex T50RP as the best headphone for mixing and mastering, as they will have the flattest overall frequency response in the RPmk3 Series.
