Moza MOLB Overview

Achieve stable and smooth handheld tracking shots with this MOZA Lite Gimbal. Weighing in at 4.2 pounds the MOZA Lite is sized for balancing DSLRs or mirrorless cameras. The MOZA Lite stabilizes handheld shots by utilizing three motors to move the camera, compensating for unwanted movement from the operator's hands along three axes: pan, tilt, and roll.

Free Standing & Tool-Less Setup
Many other motorized gimbal systems require a stand or other mount for proper calibration. The MOZA Lite, however, can be flipped into inverted mode and be placed on a flat surface without interfering with the gimbal assembly. Balancing the MOZA Lite before use is a quick process requiring no special tools. All balancing adjustments are done via levers and clamps, so with practice, an operator will be able to set up the MOZA Lite in around three minutes.
Lightweight Construction & Compact Design
With its compact design, the gimbal is well suited for lightweight cameras and confined shooting situations. Weighing only 4.2 lb (1.9kg), this lightweight gimbal has a max payload of 4.4 lb (2kg). It can be conveniently packed in a backpack, and it works well with a wide range of cameras from mirrorless cameras to common DSLRs like Sony a7s, Panasonic GH4, Canon 5D Mark III, Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera, etc.
Three Operation Modes
Operators can hold the gimbal in any of three different operation modes: upright, briefcase, and underslung, which means the gimbal can be used in a wide variety of scenarios.
Upright mode: Suitable for shooting at or above eye level. Camera keeps in right side up position.
Underslung mode: Applied when the gimbal is mounted to crane, tripod or drone.
Briefcase mode: Tune the gimbal vertically to carry.
Compatibility
The detachable top handlebar features a quick release system that allows for easy assembly and disassembly. This means the gimbal can accommodate a diversity of shooting platforms like a tripod, crane, rig, or drone.
Power Distribution Unit
The on-board battery powers not only the gimbal motors, but to the wireless transmitter as well. USB ports for power output and camera control are offered. A NTSC/PAL switch ensures that the video signals output from the unit are compatible with the incoming video signal from the camera.
MOZA App Assistant
This downloadable app has utilities which assist you in setting up and calibrating the MOZA Lite. Calibration presets for popular compatible cameras are available for starting the balancing process while more granular gimbal settings are also available for fine-tuning the response.
