Chamber Strings Sable 1 from Spitfire Audio is part of The British Modular Library, an ongoing project to provide composers with the ability to add fine detail and musical expression to their compositions. Volume 1 features four 1st violins and three cellos, seated exactly in situ, so that when combined with the rest of the sections in volumes 2 and 3, the spatial integrity is maintained. Moreover, combined with other BML modules or the Albion range, everything slots together like an orchestral jigsaw puzzle.
The library features multiple round robins, dynamic layers and easily usable, fully functional legato with control over vibrato. Additionally, the samples are presented with numerous microphone positions which can be mixed and blended together to fit a current application, and also automated for dramatic shifts in focus and depth. A full version of KONTAKT 5 is required to utilize this sample library.
