The 4 x 6" Archive Box 900 Kit from Archival Methods offers archival storage of up to 900 4 x 6" photographs in the hinged-lid black box. The kit has 25 all-purpose index cards, to help categorize and separate the included 25 archival envelopes. Each envelope holds 36 4 x 6" prints. Inside the envelope there is a separate pocket that holds a roll of 35mm negatives cut in strips of four frames across.

  • Hinged Lid Box (12.5 x 7.5 x 5.4'', Black)

The black 12.5 x 7.5 x 5.4'' Hinged Lid Box from Archival Methods is designed to archive and safely store 4 x 6" prints, envelopes, and CD cases. Also, the box can serve as a general-purpose storage box for collectibles, small pieces of art, or specimens found in nature. The lid itself has undercut front panels for easy access and more room to move materials around. The heavyweight 55 pt. ArchivalGrade boxboard is made from fully bleached, high alpha cellulose pulp, which has a minimum of 3% of calcium carbonate, and it maintains a pH value of 8 to 9.5. Moreover, the boxboard, which is suitable for long-term storage of materials, has passed the Photographic Activity Test. In addition, the paper is free of lignin, acid, recycled pulp, metal, waxes, plasticizers, bleach, and peroxide, and virtually free of sulfur.

The exterior of the box is a textured surface and the colored dye is light-fast and non-bleeding. The surface of the board does not contain knots, shives, or abrasive particles that would otherwise damage the material stored inside. Meanwhile, the anti-corrosive metal-edge clamps, which have been treated with a black polyester coating and a wax-free polyester finish, have been added to the corners of the box and provide strength and rigidity to stack the boxes on top of each other.

  • Index Cards

These all-purpose Archival Methods Index Cards are a useful addition to many of their metal edge boxes for separating and cataloging prints or other contents.

Cards are die-cut from 10-point archival card stock (about the thickness of a business card). Also useful as placeholders when contends are removed from storage. The cards are scored at one side and the bottom to be easily trimmed for use in smaller-size boxes.

These cards are a great choice for rapid note taking, filing data and organizing files. Excellent choice for setting up master files for slide collections, newspaper clippings, recipes and many other categories.

    Cards are acid and lignin-free and fit the following Archival Methods boxes: 02-004, 02-005, 04-004, 02-108 (accepts full-size card 5 x 7-3/8")
When trimmed 4-3/8 x 6-3/8" (HW) (cut) along the score line, will also fit the Archival Methods 04-003 box
