Delivering that much-beloved Marshall Amplification tone at a comparably low price point, the MG100HCFX is a 100W amplifier head for electric guitar that features a solid-state design and four individual channels: clean, crunch, and two types of overdrive (OD1 and OD2). The MG100HCFX also utilizes the same programmable footswitching technology as the JVM series, allowing you to fully pre-program your tones and access them via the tap of your toes.
Additionally, this amp features an array of built-in effects, including chorus, phaser, flanger, delay, octave, and reverb. Additional external stompboxes can be patched in via the rear-panel effects loop.
Auxiliary Inputs and Outputs
Two 1/8" / 3.5mm jacks allow you to plug in your MP3 player and to monitor your sound through headphones.
Damping Switch
Change power amp operation between two distinct styles: Classic Feeling and Modern Response.
Multiple Modes
In Manual mode, the amplifier acts more traditionally, with the knobs' dialed-in setting reflecting the tone you're generating at all times. Switch into Preset mode and you can automatically recall any previously dialed-in setting, save for the master volume control.
Speaker Outputs
This amp features two 1/4" outputs for cabinets.
