Will this work out of the box with a Pentax K3?
I don't have a Pentax K3 so I think someone at B&H Photo would be better to answer this question. The strap attaches to a camera's built-in eyelets on each side of the body via the thin cord at each end of the strap.

Which strap would work better as sling strap: Pro Loop Strap or Utility Strap? Would any of them feel better than the other one?
The Utility Strap will not accommodate SLR or digital cameras on the market they are made more for bags and etc.
The pro loop is designed for cameras of all sorts.

I saw that the outer cover layers are glued to the foam rather than stitched (and the foam edges are exposed). Wouldn't it be an issue over time? Start peeling off?
Under normal use the fabric remains bonded securely to the neoprene. Like any product subject to abrasion, it can delaminate if the edges of the strap pad are abused regularly. The Super Classic Strap and the Utility Strap offer pads with edges bound in Lycra for added durability.

It should. Looking at the photos of the Ricoh11 I see strap eyelets. The OP/Tech strap attaches using a pair of loop connectors (they're a heavy string) that should fit the Ricoh's eyelets.
I use this strap to carry a heavy SLR, and I like it enough that when I wore out my first one I replaced it with a second one.

The Pro Loop Strap is a great option for the Nikon D5500. The loop attachments are very secure and the pad is designed to absorb the jolts of your movements while conforming to your neck and shoulders to effectively disburse the weight of your camera. Be sure to connect the male connector to the right side of your camera. This way the curve of the pad will be in the correct position. Thanks for considering our products.

I am not familiar with that camera. Looking at pictures of the camera, I suppose it could. You're best off calling B&H and asking them since they appear to sell both items.Jim
