This has been a solid, secure and comfortable replacement for my standard Nikon strap. If you have a smaller neck you may find the padded section a bit broad; I may mod it for a better fit, but comfort is pretty good so far.

Reasonably priced. Albeit, I am running out of colors.

It's hard to argue that the OP/TECH USA Loop Strap does the job as intended. It's very important to have your camera strapped around your neck. You never know when you will lose your grip or get bumped. Having a reliable strap to prevent a disaster is the best insurance policy.

My favorite strap for years

I have used Op/Tech straps professionally ever since they came out. They last forever, are strong, versatile, and comfortable. I especially appreciate that the cushioned strap quickly detaches from the loops, keeping it out of the way when the camera is tripod mounted, and providing a handle to carry just the camera. Highly recommended.

I have had one of these straps for along time but I needed to renew as it was looking a little worse for wear. Having looked on various Uk website I could not find the colour I wanted. Having spotting them on this website I ordered the one I wanted it arrived very swiftly and I am very satisfied with this company and very satisfied with the strap hopefully it will last as long as my previous one

This is my second OP/TECH camera strap. The first one was used for years of summit hiking in New Hampshire. Easy on my neck and very tough. Highly recommended for rugged use.

Fits the small loops attached to the sides of Panasonic DMC-GX85 camera, but makes my neck hurt when it put it over my head.

question

Will this work out of the box with a Pentax K3?
Asked by: Gordon H.
I don't have a Pentax K3 so I think someone at B&H Photo would be better to answer this question. The strap attaches to a camera's built-in eyelets on each side of the body via the thin cord at each end of the strap.

I am not familiar with that camera. Looking at pictures of the camera, I suppose it could. You're best off calling B&H and asking them since they appear to sell both items.Jim

Are the connections with plastic loop connectors? Is it resistant? Can you break the clasp and release the camera?
Asked by: Agustin
The loops are actually made with 1/4" tubular nylon webbing so that it's extremely strong and durable while still being flexible and easy to use. The quick release buckles are extremely strong and are tested at over 145 lbs. They can be removed from the main body of the strap by squeezing both sides of the buckle at the same time. This is ideal when doing tripod work and you don't want the entire strap hanging from the tripod. I hope that this information is helpful. Cheers!

I saw that the outer cover layers are glued to the foam rather than stitched (and the foam edges are exposed). Wouldn't it be an issue over time? Start peeling off?
Asked by: JONATHAN
Under normal use the fabric remains bonded securely to the neoprene. Like any product subject to abrasion, it can delaminate if the edges of the strap pad are abused regularly. The Super Classic Strap and the Utility Strap offer pads with edges bound in Lycra for added durability.

Will it attach to a Ricoh11 and Ricoh 111?

Will it attach to a Ricoh11 and Ricoh 111?
Asked by: Louis
It should. Looking at the photos of the Ricoh11 I see strap eyelets. The OP/Tech strap attaches using a pair of loop connectors (they're a heavy string) that should fit the Ricoh's eyelets. I use this strap to carry a heavy SLR, and I like it enough that when I wore out my first one I replaced it with a second one.

Would this work well with a Nikon D5500?

Would this work well with a Nikon D5500?
Asked by: Marion
The Pro Loop Strap is a great option for the Nikon D5500. The loop attachments are very secure and the pad is designed to absorb the jolts of your movements while conforming to your neck and shoulders to effectively disburse the weight of your camera. Be sure to connect the male connector to the right side of your camera. This way the curve of the pad will be in the correct position. Thanks for considering our products.
