Stereo Pack Elements from NUGEN Audio is a bundle of three plug-ins that provide control over the stereo panorama of an audio file. Collectively, the processors can naturally widen or reduce the stereo image, focus and define low frequencies, and take control of the stereo soundfield. All three plug-ins are mono-compatible and preserve the character of the source audio without introducing phase, reverb or delay artifacts.
Stereoizer Elements from NUGEN Audio is a plug-in that provides for instant stereo image expansion or reduction, from mono to stereo, stereo to super-wide, and everywhere in between. The software offers the full range of stereo image enhancement, from gentle width adjustments to huge transformations, and using visual feedback and simple controls allows the plug-in to deliver desired results with a minimum of effort. Additionally, the character of the original source is left intact with no artificial reverberation, chorusing or delay added.
Monofilter Elements from NUGEN Audio is a bass management plug-in that can provide sharpness and definition to the bass frequencies of a mix. With the non-directional nature of low frequencies, and through inappropriate processing, bass parts can lack clarity and focus. To that end, the software allows for balancing low frequencies with minimum effort, allowing the bass to sound louder, more focused, and better-defined.
The plug-in has less functionality compared to the company's Monofilter, but with user friendly controls, bass energy can be quickly anchored while retaining the character of the original sound. Additionally, the software provides good playback performance on systems with separate low-frequency handling, such as club PAs, live rigs, hi-fi and 2.1 gaming systems.
Stereoplacer Elements from NUGEN Audio is a panning plug-in that focuses on specific frequencies that need to be moved within a stereo file. Using a simple interface, these can be positioned as required and then tweaked, fixed or aligned in the stereo panorama without affecting any other regions. The plug-in has less functionality compared to the company's Stereoplacer plug-in, but does include adjustable curves (bell, high and low shelving) for subtle or large redistribution in the stereo image, and can even move hard-panned frequencies from one side to the other without affecting the overall level balance of the material.
