Will this work with the NTG3?

Will this work with the NTG3?
Asked by: Ryan
Yes this will support with an NTG3, however you will need a microphone shock mount to attach to the Rode Boompole Something like this one should work - https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/885660-REG/auray_dusm_1_universal_shock_mount.html

question

how many weight can it handle at full length 10 feet long when horizontal handing ?
Asked by: Zai F.
I'm not sure of the actual weight limit for it. I can tell you I use a Rode NTG4+ and a Blimp and it holds that fine. You can tell it feels a flimsier with the carbon fiber construction that a metal pole. I would guess putting more than about 10 lbs on it would be too much for it.
