Control your software the way you want with Palette's Aluminum Starter Control Surface Kit. This kit comes with a central control module which connects to your computer via USB, two button modules, one dial module, and one slider module finished in Aluminum. The control modules can be assembled around the core module by magnetically attaching them. You can then build a customized interface by daisy chaining modules to fit your requirement.

Customizable Application Control
Map out the buttons, knobs, and sliders to various functions within your software of choice. Palette directly supports functionality in Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, InDesign, Premiere Pro, and Apple Final Cut Pro applications. Keystrokes and joystick functions can also be remapped to the different Palette modules for quick access to your favorite shortcuts in any other program including games, simulators, and document editors.
Configure your Own Workspace
When fitting Palette to your workspace, modules can be connected in any configuration you desire around the Core module to optimize your workflow for any given program. If you need more functions, you can add more modules, up to a maximum of 18, in any combination of buttons, knobs, and sliders.

Aluminum Starter Control Surface Kit is rated 3.6 out of 5 by 5.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from I wish I had bought the larger kit It's only been two weeks, but I am in love with Palette. The only issue/regret I have is that I did not purchase a larger set. Dedicating one of your buttons as a profile switcher, you can use the dial/button/slider in this setup for numerous tasks in several creative apps. but the true benefit appears to come when you have 3 or more dials/sliders to group at your disposal. You can individually control HSV, or your XYZ controls for rotation, position, anchor point, precision color correction, etc... The ability to quick throw my audio levels or layer opacity with the slider has already quickened my pace too. This is a must-have tool and I will definitely be purchasing add-on components or the pro kit in the future!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I am happy as it works with vMix software! I don't give out 5 stars easily. Truth is this is a very useful product that has a big cool factor. I am building a PC based video mixing system for our church and was concerned about moving from a switcher with buttons and sliders to lots and lots of mouse clicks. I purchased this controller to have buttons for camera ques and a slider for a manual fade. I am still testing the system but so far this controller does exactly what I need. I will be buying extra buttons as we find needs for them. I love how easy it is to add and change the controller to whatever we need. Why not 5 stars? It is a little light weight and on the small side. Also the back-lighting is not perfect. It is very obvious that there are two LEDs in opposite corners as two corners are very hot. Both dings are minor and not a show stopper in any way. I really like this product and hope to get years of use out of it. If you want to know how I set it up with vMix you can contact me at my yahoo account. My name here is my email address

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So COOL! This is already making my editing so much easier and more exact. I have attached a photo of a before and after of a photo in Lightroom, and the only edits applied were with the slider and knob on my Palette. It took me MINUTES to adjust the Exposure, Contrast, Highlights, Shadows, Blacks, Whites, Sat, Vibrance, Temp, Clarity, and Noise...MINUTES!!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Cool but needs more development Great idea. Polished product design. Glitches occasionally when using photoshop. Bought it really to use with Capture One, which I know is in beta development, however they should have advertised that the slider module has no functionality in C1. Which the slider is what I wanted to use most in C1.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from It's a pain to set up and keep it connected I got a Palette Starter and a Pro kit and I already returned both of them. The idea was to use it exclusively with Lightroom CC on two Mid 2015 iMac 5K 4.0GHz. First the good: This thing is beautifully made, you can see and feel that everything about it has that Apple finish and look... so it definitely looks stunning on your desk. That's literally the one and only positive thing about this product. Now the awful truth: It's a pain. You follow all the instructions, download the latest software, install it and set it up... you'll find all sorts of trouble just to make it do basic stuff, then there's the not connected thing, it just goes offline for no apparent reason... All. The. Time. I had two modules (since I bought two kits) and two USB cables as well so we tried EVERYTHING, even going into Terminal following their troubleshooting/support suggestions... it's just not worthy. The amount of work just to make it kind of operational is far from being customer friendly. By kind of operational I mean that for the short periods of times it worked, it felt nice! Even though worked only on the LR library mode but never on the developer mode for some weird reason.
