Pro Magnetic Copy Stand I is rated 3.3 out of 5 by 12.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Stand is worth it The post sticks into an open base that is attached to the base plate. The base plate is nice and large enough for copying some pretty fair sized photos. I haven't tried it on anything larger than an 8 x 10 yet. However, the column is not as tight as it could be. It would be nice to have some leveling screws like on a Christmas tree stand. But the wobble can be taken out with some modified toilet shims for $2. For the price, I think it would be hard to beat. The light accessory probably would be good. Im using studio lights, which means I'm taking up all the space in the room to copy photos.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Solid, Copy Stand This product is about as basic and straight forward as it gets. It you need a solid stand for copying flat copy or things like coins, which is what I am using it for, this will do a good job.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Revising my review After months of using this stand, I have ended up fairly displeased with it. The wobble in the upright is painful to deal with. And I haven't figured out a way to position the camera to take advantage of the stand lengthwise. All things considered, I wish I had invested more in another stand

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great for the money I recently recieved this, and overall, it's a great copy stand. Solid, well made, and easy to adjust. I don't know how much of a load it can take, but it's rock solid with my Canon 50D and a macro lens. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that when the camera and base are level, the grid printed on the base does not quite line up with the view finder. So, you can't use the grid to get perfect alignment when copying prints. You have to check the viewfinder or screen, and adjust your print to be copied askew to the grid. Although, the magnetic strips/rails do allow for you to align to the view independant of the grid. A minor issue for me, as I use this more for top down still lifes and macro work, but I can see how it would bother some. Also, again really minor, you need phillips, and flat screwdrivers for assembly, as well as an allen wrench for adjustment. It didn't come with the allen wrench, but luckily I had one that fit. But it is odd that you need 3 different tools for such a simple device. Altogether, a great value, and I will be buying the lights for it in the future. (Provided I can also get a way to independantly dim them.)

Rated 3 out of 5 by from A good value for the price I have used this copy stand to make photos of maps to be used in a classroom presentation. It is sturdy, the column is marked with inches and centimeters to allow one to return to the same height. The base is grid marked to more easily place your material in alignment with the camera. All in all it is a good value in a modestly priced copy stand.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Large, well built, easy to use Really easy to use. Has measurements so that you can remember where you were. Heavy but sturdy. Good piece of equipment for macro photography.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Built like a tank I purchased this stand for the use of digitizing historical documents and photos. I purchased it just from the description online and when I received it I was very pleased. Solid metal frame with no bounce and I use a fairly heavy camera. I didn't purchase the light kit since I already have lights... However if its build like the copy stand is I would buy it for sure. Its build well, doesn't take up alot of counter space, and can easily be transported if needed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A top quality low cost alternative Being a unemployed animator on a budget, I was very worried about shopping for copystands. I am pleased to say the Pro Magnetic Stand by Delta was a great purchased. Its easy to assemble and has enough space to shoot 8.5 x 11 papers. The only thing I would like different is if it would be more vertical then horizontal.
