The rubber on these is too stiff for such a small suction cup. The rubber should be more pliable since the surface area is so small. In addition, there are air channels in the bottom of the suction cup that make the holding surface area way too small and allow air to enter the suction cup too easily. Also the pump itself leaks. If you need these in a place where you can monitor and give a quick pump now and then, then maybe they will work.
I have 3 of these Suckers. 2 big ones that I use for convex mirrors in the car to eliminate blindspots, and one small one that I stick on the windshield to hold my cell phone when using GPS. �They stay pretty well, and I give the pump another push each time I get in the car. If I need them for any other use, I know where they are!
