question

Why so the connections look so small. Are the connections not for SDI?
Asked by: Anonymous
The connections are miniature BNC's called 1.0/2.3 DIN. It allows more connections per card. Clever actually. You do need adapters if going to a conventional size cable. Please see below.

What is the connector? It looks smaller than a standard BNC
Asked by: Kyle
Are the adapters with the right angle DIN 1.0/2.3 end going to fit into the DL? I'm wondering if the DL will stick out far enough from the back of the PC case. If that makes sense. I don't have it yet to look.

I'm curious what this card can output to..can it power several projectors if the projectors are outfitted with Blackmagic SDI to hdmi adaptors? I'm to use it with live cameras projected to several screens.
Asked by: Michael
It can output SDI from SD-SDI up to 3G-SDI (SMPTE 259M, SMPTE 292M, SMPTE 296M, SMPTE 372M, SMPTE 425M, ITU-R BT.656 and ITU-R BT.601) As long as the device on the other end can receive that signal, it will work. In your case, since your projectors don't have an SDI input, you will need an SDI to HDMI converter. You can use any converter you'd like, such as the Mini Converter or Micro Converter from Blackmagic, the AJA Hi5, or the Decimator MD-LX, just to name a few.
