Custom designed for the Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera, Vidpro's CA-BMC Aluminum Camera Cage surrounds the camera body to provide protection, while adding threaded holes to attaching accessories without stressing the camera. With the camera inside of the cage, access is maintaining to all ports and controls, allowing uninhibited operation. Built-in in the the cage is a wooden grip for comfortable and steadier handheld shooting, with a bolt-on reversible top handle included for low-angle shots and carrying the camera rig. The top handle also adds two shoe mounts and additional threaded holes for accessory mounting.
The camera cage comes with a quick-release rod baseplate with 15mm rod clamps. A set of 12" long 15mm rods are provided to support optional accessories such as a follow focus or matte box. A micro-HDMI adapter and cable clamp are also included to protect the camera's micro-HDMI port from excessive wear or damage due to frequent connecting and disconnecting of cables.
