The LENSKIRT XL Flexible Lens Hood features suction cups that attach to glass to help block out internal environmental reflections while shooting. This allows you to shoot photographs and video through glass without worrying about lights, flashes, or you showing up in the final image. It opens up with a drawstring in order to fit securely around your lens. It is compatible with lenses up to 8" in diameter, and the 12 x 13" opening will work with lenses as wide as 15mm. The LENSKIRT XL allows for more room to position your camera at an angle or tilt without seeing the edge of the Lenskirt. This is useful when shooting time lapse out of a tall building capturing the view below.

The Lenskirt worked very well especially considering that due to a safety bar next to the window, I was not able to actually wrap the skirt around the lens, i.e. my lens want not long enough. The room light was turned off so it was dark and I am sure that the dark room helped however, when I went to process, no reflections! The other thing I liked was the wide field of view. I was photographing fireworks from a very tall building with very large windows. Product works well.

Purely ok, nothing terrible, nothing wow this is tremendous. It seal well on the two sides that have the suction cups, but doesn't on the other two sides. For ultra wide angle shots, it is probably too small. Need to do a lot of experimenting with tripod height, and height of hood on the window, to get camera height to correspond to the hood height in the end.
