The 23.6" Camera Slider from Manfrotto is a sturdy, portable solution for adding short-length tracking shots and subtle motion to your videos with loads up to 22 lb. It features high-precision steel ball bearings and quiet PSU polymer wheels for smooth camera carriage slides and an adjustable friction system to dial in the right amount of resistance for each slide. The carriage has a maximum travel distance of 18.4". The slider is constructed from machined anodized aluminum and weighs 4.83 lb. It can be setup on any flat and level surface or mounted on a tripod via the 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threads at the center and ends of the tripod. Manfrotto MVS060A reviews

    Camera Slider 60cm (23.6") is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 4.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love it, but... I bought the 60cm, and it was smooth for the first 3 months. Then it developed a clicking in one of the rollers. I took it apart, and found that the bearings are not sealed, which is not good, particles of sand etc can get in. Thinking that was the problem, I sourced some high end sealed bearings of the exact same size, and replaced the whole set. Surprisingly, it didn't solve the issue. Delving deeper, I found that the spacers inside the rollers were too thick by a few microns, causing the whole roller assembly to move around on the spindle. Shaving down the spacers solved the problem, and now it is the best slider I have ever used. It handles medium weight cams like C300, Raven, Scarlet, without issue, and the length is perfect for a lot of the automotive applications I use it for. I'm not sure what caused the size problem, (possibly the urethane rollers curing?), but an easy fix with the right tools. Metric guys be careful, since all the bolts are imperial sizing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from nice build I like this slider. It is short and smooth and works well for a lot of applications. I only used it with a Manfrotto 496RC2 Compact Ball Head so far. I want to get a flat based 502 HD to have pan and tilt capabilities. For me it is easy to throw in the bag with my tripod and take on trips. Well worth the money.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Portable yet great for RED and C300 cameras Bought this before I saw any reviews because it just seemed well-constructed. I was very impressed. When you're shooting on a more robust camera than a DSLR, yet still want a quality lightweight slider, this is the one to get. This is better than the Rhino and many other more expensive systems I've bought and tried. It's machined from one solid piece of metal, which prevents flexing. It can be center-mounted on a tripod. It carries the Manfrotto 504HD head with my RED or C300 very easily and is extremely smooth. My only qualm is that the 1/4-20 and 3/8-16 holes are drilled too close together to use at the same time (so you can't use a tripod plate with 2 screws). It's better to get a half-ball mount and mount the slider on that.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Well-constructed, love it! Well-constructed, love it! After shooting a season of weddings using the Revo RS-600 slider I felt I needed an upgrade. I was using the Revo because I was on a budget and needed to get those cool cinematic slider shots without breaking the bank. The Revo got the job done but I needed something a little more dependable where I didn't have to do 3, 4, 5, or 6 slider takes to get a good take. I looked into the edelkrone sliders, and they're very nice, but I decide, because of cost and for my use, I would give the Manfrotto a try after watching several YouTube videos on both. The Manfrotto 60cm (23.6') slider is prefect for me. I used it on a shoot last weekend and got most my shoot in 2 sliders or less. This helped to give me more time to shoot other stuff I might have normally missed. I use the slider primarily mounted to a tripod so it not having feet was not a concern for me. I use a pistol grip tripod head mounted to the slider for no other reason but it's what I had used on the Revo and it works. I image eventually I will upgrade to a tilt and pan head when I upgrade to a newer cinema camera but for now I'm good. The length of the slide I think it prefect for the b-roll type footage I shoot for weddings. Anything longer in length and I might find it a little hard to transport. Super happy with this slider. Hopefully it will standup against the test of time but I'll have to wait and see. It is a bit on the heavy side but I'm oaky with that because it seems to be built very well. Only thing I might change or add would be I guess it would be nice if maybe they offered feet as an add-on extra for people that would use them.
