Kershaw has combined two steels to form the 3.4" modified clip point blade on their Rake Flip Knife. This design utilizes 14C28N stainless on the spine and most of the blade for corrosion resistance and high hardness. High-carbon, high-chromium D2 steel was chosen for the straight edge because it provides a razor edge and allows for easy re-sharpening. An ambidextrous flipper and thumb stud provide single-hand opening via the SpeedSafe system, which assists the blade in coming out.
G-10 scales conceal the liner lock, which is closed by moving the lock bar to the side. You can adjust the pocketclip for tip-up or tip-down carry on one side, and one-position carry on the other for convenient access. Kershaw proudly manufactures the Rake Flip Knife in their Tualatin, Oregon production facility.
