GyroVu GVP-QR Reviews

Very useful but only sometimes interchangeable

These are very useful. I use them with a Blackmagic Video Assist 5, a Zoom H6, and numerous external batteries. I like the simplicity but note: they're not always interchangeable. The two parts in each individual order fit fine, but an order of multiple units is no guarantee they'll fit each other. I numbered them so I know which ones are pairs.

I first purchased this to attached to my monitor to my camera cage. Attached a ball head to the plate and my monitor is attached to that. It works perfectly and hold my monitor firm on my camera cage. Since then I have gotten a few more of these quick-release plates. I have used them to wireless receivers systems, they can be used for a lot of applications.

Are these good for a camera light? And... how do they compare to the more expensive 16x9?

Yes,it can easily hold a light. The price outweighs anything else,it does exactly what it should for half the price... sure it doesn’t look as pretty and not build as well but for the difference in price it’s the right choice.
