    Lexar 256GB reviews

256GB Professional 3600x CFast 2.0 Memory Card is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 22.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works great with Ursa 4k Been using these for about two weeks with the URSA 4k without issue. With two of these, using dual card mode, I can record 120fps in 4k raw 3:1 Using the Sandisk CFast 2.0 card reader, copies files from the cards to computer (using USB 3.0) at about 260MB/s Playback in camera on the URSA using these cards is flawless, unlike the SSD drives in the Production 4K camera which would lock up every now and then. Here are some recording times: ProRes Proxy 131m 55 s ProRes LT 58 min 49 sec ProRes 422 40min 58 sec ProRes HQ - 1920x1080 Windowed 150fps 27 min 17 sec ProRes HQ 2160P 120 FPS 8m 23s ProRes 444 2160P 60FPS 11m 13 s ProRes 444 XQ 3840x2160 FULL 60FPS 7m 25s RAW 3:1 4000 x 2160 full 120 fps 7m 3s RAW 4000x2160 FULL 60fps 7m 28 s

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works Blackmagic URSA High Frame Rates Works with the new Blackmagic Ursa V2 4K 120fps. It's fast enough for the ProRes 422 HQ, but not fast enough for the 4K 120fps in RAW 3:1. You can however run it in dual card mode to get the RAW 3:1 to record with no dropped frames.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Thee Card for Multi-Hour Production on Amira/Mini I'm a Digital Image Technician, with the Alexa SxS slots topping out at a poultry 128GB or (84minutes@24fpsHDProresHQ). I'm recommending using the 256GB for Multi-cam Arri Amira or Mini productions because not having to stop then start again on that 90minute Comedy Special is a life saver especially so we don't have to cut when talent goes long.....Now if they could only keep them in stock.....

Rated 1 out of 5 by from BEWARE!!! Was using this card in the Canon 1DX Mark II and while recording the card stopped and became corrupt. Had to send to a recovery company to get the files recovered for $$$. I did some polling and others have had the same issues with Lexar. I've also had a couple of Lexar CFcards go corrupt. I think it might a overheating problem. I will have to go with Sandisk since all the people I've spoken with say they've never had an issue.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Working Great so far The product is working great so far. Have been recording 4K RAW 3:1 with Blackmagic URSA for 4 straight 12 hour days, including Hi-Speed 60 fps. No dropped frames and no problems yet. Took 1 star off for price which is really high.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So Fast It's Hard to Believe This card is large enough to do a great deal of work without rationing bytes. It is so fast that when shooting and downloading it is shocking. This card will save you so much time.
