question

I damaged the antenna, the extention part above the hinge. Any idea where to get replacement part?
Asked by: Anonymous
Midland offers the part for sale on its Midlandusa website. It would be more convenient to be able to order it from B&H, though. Presumably B&H will eventually add spare antennas, ER310 radio protective/storage cases, and earphones to its list of accessories for this product.

I’ve read that the ‘newer’ ER310 uses a tab rechargeable battery that has replaced the proprietary plug in wired battery. Anyone know if this is true?
Asked by: Anonymous
This is true. The new battery looks like your normal AA battery but just a little larger.

question

ok to keep er310 plugged into electric outlet?
Asked by: Anonymous
Yes you can leave it plugged in, however, we recommend taking the Lithium battery out. It is possible to overcharge the battery, if it is left charging continually.
