DJI CP.ZM.000227 reviews

Extension Stick for Osmo is rated 3.8 out of 5 by 30.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great tool! I really like how compact it is when retracted and how strong it is when extended. I also really like the rosette being at the handle portion so I can have my phone near me even when the camera is at the end while extended. I use mine screwed onto the end of a monopod for an even longer reach. This come in real handy while filming an event over top of a crowd of spectators. I was able to show the crowd and the band at the same time (which showed the large crowd that had gathered for the event). It also helps for walking because it serves as leverage to steady the OSMO. It helps to keep unwanted movements out. The OSMO still requires practice but the handle certainly helps and more than I thought it would.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Sure, it extends... ...but not by a lot. I wish there are maybe another foot at least. But as is, that's the only issue I have with it. It locks and seems pretty solid. I know the longer it gets the heavier it gets, so maybe also enough length so it accommodates for a counter balance.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from DJI Osmo extension So far so good. I like the size and weight. It feels solid and sturdy without any flex when full extended. Using the phone mount at the end of the extender seems better balanced to me. Also you can't rotate the side mount without having the camera be just a little off center. So mounting it at the bottom solves that issue. I like being able to travel from the ground up to 8 or 9 ft like a crane shot. There are a lot of good options for some really cool shots with this tool.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not worth half the price We were never able to get this to extend easily. Should have sent it back right away. Didn't. My bad. The last segment now separates into a two piece. DJI won't replace- won't give a repair price (normally they are awesome about repairs). Not going to buy another one- since they couldn't confirm if they've improved it. We also bought the handle bar mount, the tripod base, and they are all well made. This just isn't.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from mine has come loose Avid Osmo user. I liked the stick until it started to get loose and have some play. There is a set screw on the lock and after a while it will not tighten. I can lo longer use the stick for time lapse since the camera will move even in the lightest of wind. Thrown away a few great time lapse due to this issue. Bought the other adapter.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from It's An Extension Stick That Extends Like A Long Stick There's not much to say about this extension stick. It works fine and has a nice foam grip. I'm not a fan of the hand strap, but that's easy enough to remove. The top-most shaft is a bit skinny and makes me a bit uncomfortable, but considering that the max payload of the OSMO products isn't terribly heavy, I suppose it works fine.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Necessary for the OSMO Necessary for the OSMO. Well worth the cost. Not only gives you a second handle to steady your shots, also extends to allow you to do some impromptu crane shots. Nice addition that there is a rosette on the handle so you can mount your phone to the handle and see what you are shooting.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Love DJI but extension arm not so much! It's the only method to use the extensions for mic and lights. And it does extend but does not collapse well. It works like a golf ball retriever, however doesn't work as good as one. Very cheaply built. Hopefully there will be a knock off soon that has a better operational component
