The red 16GB Vengeance Pro Series DDR3L 2133 MHz Memory Kit from Corsair consists of two 8GB UDIMM memory modules designed for Intel Skylake platforms, with ICs specially screened for significant overclocking on Intel 100 Series DDR3L motherboards. The aluminum heat spreaders provide effective temperature management. The memory modules feature 1.35V DDR3L (DDR3 Low-voltage) formats, eight-layer PCBs, tightly screened RAM, XMP 1.3 support, and are backward compatible with Intel 3rd, 4th, and 5th generation Core processors. This kit works with older motherboards with DDR3 slots. Older processors may not support the higher memory bus speeds and lower voltages allowed by 6th generation Core processors, but this kit will still work at slower speeds and at the 1.5V DDR3 standard.
