This pouch is filled with silicon dioxide and the fabric exterior incorporates a color changing humidity indicator to signify when it is time to evaporate the moisture the pack has collected, which is done simply by microwaving the pack.

The pouch is filled with silicon dioxide to remove unwanted moisture and humidity from the air.
Keep in a safe or storage container to protect valuables such as electronics or other sensitive items from mold, mildew, corrosion, or other moisture damage.
The fabric incorporates a humidity indicator, which changes color to pink, so you know when it's time to evaporate the collected moisture. The pouch can then be "recharged" by microwaving for four minutes at 600W.

No. I've had this for over a year in Florida and this one hasn't changed color a bit. We have world-leading humidity here, and all my other silica gel dehumidifiers of another type have required charging several times. The indicator on this one just doesn't indicate.

Many amazon reviews criticized it and denying it's action. I tried for one and half month and it succeeded to decrease the humidity in my unsealed case from 68% to 37%. I have some thoughts to share. first, It would never turn pink. You can recharge it when the indicator become white or even extreme pale whitish blue...Again, IT WOULDN'T TURN PINK. The safest method is to use fractionated time, meaning to adjust the microwave for 556 W and heat minute by minute ( not continuous) for 4 minutes. Bring the bag outside the microwave and check it every minutes. You can use lower Wattage from the start for more one or two more minutes (Also, not continuous) ..5 or 6 minutes from the start. You will see the bag very hot, soaked with water and a lot of water vapour. Don't exceed both the recommended time or wattage. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because falsely they told us ( Don't charge it until the indicator become pink) and this would never happen. The bag gets saturated and heavy without turning to pink. Finally I recommend it

These seem great but I have two and thy are still blue. So, my question is "Has anyone ever had one turn Pink, and then turn turn back to Blue after microwave?

No. It wouldn't... You can recharge it on lower wattage if it gets heavier and pale blue or white. You will find lot of vapour and moister inside when you heat it. Please review my review of the product for details.
