Tenba Canvas 15 overview

  • 1Description

Functional yet attractive, the gray Cooper 15 Messenger Bag with Black Leather Accents from Tenba is designed to store and protect your DSLR gear, 15" laptop and related accessories. The back of the bag features a zippered pocket for a laptop. A versatile bag, the insert is removable for converting the bag from photo usage to a carryall. For organizing gear, there are touch-fastening, padded dividers and two, slip-in pockets on the inserts exterior. Photographers will appreciate the large front flap, which closes with quieter-than-normal, touch-fastening fabric. Bound to be popular, the front flap has a top zipper for access to gear without having to open the flap, and an exterior, zippered, accessory pocket for your cellphone. For added security, there's a secondary zipper under the top of the flap. Lifting the flap reveals exterior pockets for storing a variety of useful items such as cables, filters, and more.

Slim side pockets are expandable for storing a water bottle or lens up to a 24-70mm f/2.8. Carry the Cooper with the padded shoulder strap, removable hand strap, or attach to the trolley handle on your rolling luggage. The beauty of this bag is in the numerous details that include hand-riveted, leather zipper pulls, peach-waxed cotton canvas, full-grain leather accents and trim, and a silicone-coated, water-resistant, ripstop, nylon interior. For added equipment protection as well as helping to prevent scratching furniture, the bottom of the bag is trimmed in leather. The Cooper comes with a reversible silver/black rain cover. The black side is good for stealth, and the silver side helps keep the bag cooler by reflecting sunlight.

    Tenba Canvas 15 reviews

Cooper 15 Messenger Bag with Leather Accents (Gray) is rated 3.8 out of 5 by 10.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solid performer which exceeds my expectation I was looking for a camera bag suitable for carry-on holding 'a minimum set' and PC. Before I bring it to overseas photo-shoot, I brought this to a domestic travel for simulation/using under the real situation. This is the solid performer constructed with lots of consideration, and, most importantly, those persons who built this camera bag knew how it would be used under the real situation. A bit expensive; but, absolutely admire this bag. Not a single feature that I did not use. No hesitation to bring this into the heavy duty mission. Looking forward to it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not Reccomended I have been looking at the 13 bag since it came out and I literally waited for a 15 version to fit my laptop in. I really, really wanted to like this bag with its stylish design, beautiful canvas. After about three weeks of owning it I started to realize its not made for full on professional use, the bag started losing its shape. Now it just looks like a satchel more than a bag; the inside dividers are very low quality and started are so worn out so badly that my lenses are squashed if I put my DSLR (Nikon D5) with a lens facing down. What can I say Incredibly disappointed? I guess will get back to Think Tank that doesnt always have the most stylish bags but boy they can take a beating and after 8 years they look like they are 8 months old. I had my Tenba Cooper Luxury Canvas bag for 8 months but it looks more like its 8 years old. Not recommended.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A does it all awesome bag Goal: I wanted a good solution to use as a pseudo brief case that would be multifunctional. Day to day I need to cary my laptop and some peripherals for meetings and so I can work on the go. But when I do a big shoot travel, I'd like to use the same bag to add some camera gear to as part of my carry on. So I needed a bag that could dress up nice, keep my laptop safe, and carry some gear if I needed it to. PROS: This bag does it all. Looks great so I'm comfortable to wear it with a suit, but can also work well if I'm carrying gear to a shoot. Versatile with lots of pockets that are in sensible locations, comes with a rain slicker, wears comfortable, and feels sturdy. Highly recommend Cons: I almost gave it 4 stars because I feel that the laptop pocket could be a little more padded - but I also understand that it would bulk the bag up more if they added that padding. It's probably sufficient. I wonder how long the leather bottom will hold up. I've only owned it for 2 weeks...so we'll see :)

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not good. The padding is very flimsy. It really takes shape to your body when worn making it hard to take things out on your body.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Stylish and Functional Bag I have collected many bags over the years and always struggle to find something with enough capacity yet is small and easy to carry. This Bag has plenty of room for D750 with 70-200 f2.8 mounted, 24-120 f4, Flash, and plenty of room for a third lens or 2 shorter lenses if stacked. The quality is exceptional, it looks like fine luggage, not a camera bag. I also have a Messenger DNA 13 that I have used for a couple of years and like very well. The Cooper 15 is taller and allows me to carry the 70-200 f2.8 mounted. Highly recommended.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Bag hoarder/ hobbyist It's a nice looking bag that holds everything my other bag did. What I don't like is the canvas grabs on to my clothes as I swing it to and fro. Maybe it wouldn't grab if the back were leather or nylon-like. I would also like to see the insert lining sewed/stitched like the peak design messenger. I'll get it done at a local shop sooner or later.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect Gear Bag Perfect size gear bag! I can fit my 70-200mm, 24-105, 17-40 & my 14mm as well as my camera, flash & iPad Pro and all of the other essentials that I need! Also, when I take out my camera... all of my other gear is not visible to others!
