This 0.5 oz of Aeroclipse Digital Sensor Cleaning Fluid from Photographic Solutions is designed to clean your CCD and CMOS digital sensors. It is also safe and ideal for lens and filter cleaning. Aeroclipse has the same cleaning power as Eclipse optic cleaning fluid but is non-flammable. It dries quickly in order to avoid leaving a residue. When used with optional Sensor Swabs, you can clean your sensor. Or, dispense several drops onto a clean, folded PEC-PAD and lightly wipe your lens surface in a single direction. Refold pad to expose a clean side and re-wipe as necessary.

Worked well for me. I did get streaks at first, like others. But after looking closely to what was happening I found that I was not putting enough of the fluid on my swab. It was getting absorbed and moved up the swab quickly leaving very little at the tip which actually touches the sensor. The fabric ridges of the swab were all that were able to touch the sensor since they were kind of stiff. After I realized this I put many more drops on the swab, not enough to drip off, though. Once the swab was thoroughly wet the ridges of the fabric were softer and squished more when I wiped, therefore getting rid of the streaks. Cleaned it very well.

This fluid gets my sensors clean from anything (including direct fingerprints) in minimal swipes. I see no reason to risk using anything else

Bad product for cleaning the sensor. I never had an issue with cleaning my sensors until I tried aeroclipse. It it known to many users that it well leave streaks on the sensor. I paid almost a 100 for 4 units with shipping to germany. No better way to burn money.

Is this product safe for Sony A7RII and A7II sensors?

I tried it on my A7RII. Yes it is safe. Contacted the manufacturer and they confirmed 'it was safe but not recommended as it will take many swabs to clean the sensor'. Found this to be accurate as there is residue. If you are travelling and can't get the lens cleaned professionally then it will get the job done but to a minimal standard at best. Hope this helps.
