Arista EDU Ultra 100 35mm Reviews

Surprised by the quality of my pics

I bought this film just to test a newly acquired Kodak Retina IIc camera. I honestly didn't expect much but liked the price. I was surpised when the developed negatives were superb! Nice contrast, very little grain, and good tonal rendering. The negatives were nearly as good as those I get with TMax 100, and I plan to use htis film again. Can't beat the price!

Great film but new cassette ard to open.

Been using film for a long time, but new plastic cassette iis hard to open and is sharp and causes cuts. Bring back the original metal cassette.

It is best to ask airport security to hand check film. However, since the Arista EDU Ultra 100 Black and White Negative Film is ISO 100, it should not be an issue.

The Arista EDU Ultra 100 Black and White Negative Film (35mm Roll Film, 24 Exposures) (B&H# AR190241) does have a plastic cartridge and is not DX coded. It is therefore only for use in cameras that allow the user to set the ISO manually.

question

Can anyone compare Arista EDU Ultra 100 to Agfa APX100?
Asked by: Robert
The Arista is FomaPan as I've heard, it has a lot of black and white. I've only shot APX 400, it has more traditional grays also.
