Arista 190145 reviews

EDU Ultra 100 Black and White Negative Film (4 x 5", 50 Sheets) is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 8.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very Comparable to FP4 I'm ver satisfied with this film. I typically shoot HP5, but I was on a budget and decided to try and see if I could get more bang for my buck. Instead of paying for 25 sheets I got 50 sheets for right around the same price. I processed with stock D76 and got close, if not the same, results.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice film for large format at a good price This film is just re-branded Fomapan. It is much improved from the old Fomapan. The grain is acceptably tight, particularly for large format. It has nice contrast and processes more quickly than a lot of other b/w films. If you are new to large format, this is a really cost-effective film for learning the craft. You don't get depressed over a ruined sheet or two.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Not as bad as many would lead you to believe This film is pretty forgiving, though for 100 iso it is very very grainy, a 4x5 in 100 looks like an iso 200 35mm T-max negative printed at the same size. This film is great though for learning 4x5 as it is soo cheap, and the development times allow alot of room. I develop it in d76 1:1 with a jobo CPP2 at 20 for 10 min and the results are pleasant.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good inexpensive film I don't have a lot of experience yet with this film but my first impressions are that it is very good, and especially for the price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent film, Incredible resolving power with Pyro Dev. Nothing to envy from more expensive films. Great sharpness and fine detail resolution with Pyro ABC developer.
