Arista Ultra 400 reviews

EDU Ultra 400 Black and White Negative Film (120 Roll Film) is rated 4.1 out of 5 by 8.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from THIS FILM IS AMAZING FOR BEGINNERS I love this film SO much. I just started developing 120 film. It is very inexpensive at B&H. If you are new to medium format, I highly recommend using this film to begin experimenting. I was not able to find reliable developing times for this film at 400 ISO and Ilfosol 3. I can now confirm for those that are wondering, this film at 400 ISO with 1+9 Ilfosol 3 has a developing time of 8.5 minutes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great and cheap film I don't why all the hate but this is a cheap and great film. Contrast and quality pretty decent and consistent , great for students and beginners

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Straightforward film Like the 135 version, the 120 is a great straightforward b&w film, great price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great value for money I love working with Arista products. The film is fine grain and very sharp and it is a great value for money.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from I won't buy it again I thought I'd try and save a few dollars and buy this instead of the Ilford I usually buy. This film is lacking in sharpness, is probably ISO 320, not 400, and any underexposure leaves you with very contrasty unusable images. All of this, and the fact that it curls SO badly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Arista and Foma film Excellent. Big user of Foma film and paper. when are you going to start shipping chemicals again?????????

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Difficult to work with Film is extremely thin and difficult to load on reals... almost feels like 220. I fibs that they often get creased easily and it's more difficult than other brands to discern emulsion side. Delightful inexpensive but I'd go with Kodak or another brand.
