I've been using this paper ever since I started printing as a student and I've never had any issues with it. It's perfect for casual printing and contact proofing. Best paper for the value, especially if you're a student.

The darkroom paper works well, and I would absolutely buy it again. I noticed that B&H packaged it with lots of filler to prevent it from flying around the large box. A smaller box would make more sense and probably cost you less, but hey, you got it to me on time and intact.

This Paper Is Horrible

I am a frequent user of Arista brand black and white film and have not had any issues with the film. The paper on the other hand is horrible. It doesn't develop any where near as well as other brand papers I have used and it doesn't seem to absorb the chemicals very well at all. I would not recommend this paper, even at a student level.

Good for work prints and paper negatives

I've been using this paper for many years for my work prints to help me decide if I want to make a final print on Ilford fiber base paper. It is good for that purpose, but if you are making final prints with it I do feel it doesn't produce a black as rich as Ilford MGRC does. I also use it for large format paper negatives and find it gives me a decent negative, whereas Ilford RC paper tends to be a bit too contrasty for my needs. I've never had any development issues with it and find that the images comes up quicker than it does on Ilford RC.
