This soft diffusion is so worth it. Strong enough as key light for video conferencing. An amazing second powerful light to my 300x. Super Mobile with D-tap that last for hours. Great for smaller gigs or quick interview set ups. Strong as heck. Stronger than Nanlite 60 for the same size. This light punches 100w. Super Awesome and that’s why it’s pricey.

Better than the diffuser that comes standard with the light.

This diffusion sits away from the LED so it offers a softer diffusion than the diffusion insert that comes with the light. It seems a bit bulky and makes the light seem quite a bit bigger, but it functions quite well. It cuts intensity down a fair bit but the light is very pleasing and soft on faces. If youre close (under 4 to 6 feet) from the subject it does a great job and looks quite natural if you have your color temperature right. We have used this diffuser in vehicles when filming documentaries but there are many applications for it. A bit pricy for what it is. Its well made and can handle some abuse. I would say it makes a great addition to the brick light.
